Combining her extensive knowledge, compassionate approach, and diverse skill set, Paula guides individuals on their journey to wellness and growth. Her holistic approach to coaching and teaching empowers her clients to navigate life's challenges with mindfulness, resilience, and a good dose of humor.

With over 15 years of experience in wellness coaching and a specialization in mindfulness, Paula is a certified wellness coach who also holds a master's degree in Exercise Physiology. Her extensive career includes more than a decade of grief coaching and has been teaching yoga since before it was cool.  Additionally, she possesses a master's equivalent in Buddhist chaplaincy, which enriches her ability to use mindfulness when working with grief and trauma.

Known for her incredible talent for creating genuine connections, Paula has a unique ability to make people feel seen and appreciated. She seamlessly blends humor and vulnerability, creating an environment where individuals feel comfortable opening up and beginning the healing process. Her personal touch is evident in her work, whether she’s guiding a yoga class, speaking on a national stage, or with you 1-on-1. 

Paula is a nationally known speaker on grief and resilience and has shared her insights and experiences on prestigious platforms, including the State Department and numerous military symposiums. Her engaging and relatable style has earned her a reputation for leaving a lasting impact on her audiences.

She has authored the book "From Grief to Growth: The Five Essential Elements to Give Your Grief Purpose and Grow From Your Experience," which she self-published in 2016. Her insights have been featured on notable online platforms, including Upaya Zen Institute, MindBodyGreen, Positively Positive, Tiny Buddha, and The Huffington Post. Through these contributions, she has shared profound wisdom on topics ranging from resilience to post-traumatic growth.

Her practical experience is complemented by her role as an educator and retreat facilitator. She has hosted transformative yoga retreats in Costa Rica and Colorado, specifically designed for mothers who have lost a child. These retreats provide a sanctuary for healing and connection, underscoring her commitment to supporting individuals through their most challenging times.

As an approved continuing education provider for the National Board of Health & Wellness Coaches, Paula, is dedicated to fostering compassionate leadership and resilience. She is also a certified clinical hypnotherapist, a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), and a Certified Educator RYT (ERYT) with the Yoga Alliance. 

In addition to her professional endeavors, she volunteers as a yoga and meditation teacher at the Jefferson County Detention Center for incarcerated women.
